The Jet Quintet is a brass quintet from Evansville, comprised of the following players: Don Ellington and Dave Jarrett on Trumpet, Lee Ann Ellington on French Horn, Matt Wargel on Trombone and Wayne Jones on Tuba. Founded in 2005, the JET Quintet performs classical and popular chamber music to a many audiences throughout the tri-state region.
Visitors are to bring a lunch from home or your favorite downtown eatery and spend the lunch hour listening and viewing all the BSF Gallery has to offer, including the current visual art display and consignment shop filled with local artists’ works. Founded in 1970, The Arts Council, located in the Bower-Surheinrich Foundation Gallery, is to be the best source of information and advocacy by increasing awareness and accessibility of the arts and for the arts, arts education and arts organizations in southwestern Indiana. | |
